Terms & Conditions

By using cairotoluxortour.com, you accept the terms set out below. Please read them before you rely on anything you find here.

What this site is, and is not

cairotoluxortour.com is an independent travel guide for people in Cairo, Hurghada, Marsa Alam, Sharm el Sheikh and beyond who are weighing up a trip to Luxor and the Nile Valley, whether that means a day trip by plane, an overnight sleeper train, or a multi-day Nile cruise. We research and compare tours and experiences sold in Luxor and booked through GetYourGuide.

We are not a tour operator, a travel agency, or a seller of travel. We are not the official website of any operator or of GetYourGuide, and nothing on this site should be read that way.

How accurate is the information here?

We work hard to keep our guides current. We last checked the 18 tours compared on this site on 3 October 2026. Even so, prices, departure times, availability and what is included can change without notice, especially for excursions that depend on flight schedules, river conditions or opening hours at sites like Karnak Temple. The listing page on GetYourGuide, at the moment you check out, is always the final word on what you are buying.

When you book a tour

Every booking you make is a contract between you and the third-party seller, made on their own website and governed by their own terms and conditions. We are not a party to that contract. We cannot change a booking, cancel one, or arrange a refund. If a hot air balloon flight is rescheduled or a cruise date needs to move, you deal with the platform or operator directly, and our guides are there to help you choose well in the first place.

Affiliate links

Some of the links on this site earn us a commission if you book a tour after clicking through. This never costs you extra and never changes what we recommend. You can read the details in our Affiliate Disclosure, and you can see how we go about choosing what to feature on How We Research.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the version published on this page always applies. They were last reviewed in 2026.
